We will be having our third Staff Weekend April 16 - 18, 2010 at Camp Ware. Where we are staying will be determined at a later date, it will depend on who is assisting with the Cub Scout Fun Day.
Arrival is 7:00 PM on April 16th (If you need to arrive earlier, please contact me first). Departure is around 10:00 AM on Sunday April 18th. Cost: $10 for food If you are able to attend please let me know by April 10, 2010 by email or posting on the forums. |

I wasnt there during most of the staff weekend so I dont know what people did/didnt do... but since this is the April Staff Weekend topic, we are in need of anyone wants to come.
I dont know how John is planning on running the Cub Fun Day this year, last year I ran it and I had close to 40 games that were being run during the day, all day... with that being 80 + people needed. With that being said, lets make this easy and say no computers/DS/whatever is allowed to be used at the April Staff Weekend. I dont want a whole discussion on it, if you really want to discuss it then create a new topic in the appropriate forum, with how the Cub Fun Day ran last year, there was very little time available to do planning and have free time. So, I would suggest that the no electronics be allowed at the next weekend. |

i was justifying my request for not having EVERYONE show up for this staff weekend, i thought it was going to be a staff weekend and nothing else, therefore we wouldn't need every available body. but since it's cub fun day, nevermind.
just got from jake segal some early attendance numbers if it helps. so far 71 scouts, 33 parents, and 11 siblings, and they don't stop registration until the week before the weekend. |
